READY... SET... GO!!!

We are finally excited about snow! We decided it was time to learn to ski! Holy Cow! I think we have created a SKI BUM!!! Jaxon has had a blast learning to move those things around, practicing first in the front yard, and then trying the "hill". But, he is excited to go to a ski resort so that he doesn't have to walk back up... he thinks that will definately be easier! (Plus, added benefit--no tennis court fence in the way). Anyway, we are going to try to take some family trips to ski. Jaxon wants to know, "Who has the Skiing Spirit? I do, I do!" Tyler also is excited...practicing in the dark down the side of the house. We are ready to GO!!! Could their smiles be any bigger!

What do you do when you have a fire? You roast marshmallows, of course! Jaxon just "loves that campfire smell" and he is quick to break out the mallows whenever we build a fire...morning or night! Here he is showcasing his "double". He is my little fire helper. Always willing to help, whenever there is a fire to build.

Tyler got to dance at the Festival of the Trees. It was amazing to see all of those precious trees donated to loved ones. We took a girl's trip to Salt Lake City-plus she got to miss half a day of school that she had to produce tears on demand to convince her mom it was ok...especially since she works so hard... (sob) and hasn't missed a day (hicup) and she really, really, really wants to dance! (sniff, sniff). After all the convincing, I knew she deserved it. She did such a great job! I'm so proud of her and her dancing feet!

Tyler found the biggest bubble maker in the land and wanted to try it out. Once you were inside the bubble, you made a wish. Once it is made, you try to blow your way out of the bubble. It was REALLY COOL!
