FINALLY lost a tooth! It was such a big deal for a kindergartener. But unfortunately, he didn't get into the Lost Tooth Club. But now, he is an official member! WAHOO!!!!Grandma, these photos are for you because I know how you love photos of the kids and how often you check your blog. (And for not updating often, so sorry. But I want you to know we do think about you all the time)

One of the best family activities we did this summer was attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House. What a fantastic opportunity to show the kids the inside of a temple and get them excited about going someday to marry their sweetheart there. It was so neat. They did a video at the first with an explanation and passed out a flyer of the different rooms. Jaxon had his flyer open the entire time, following which room was which, "Dad, I think we're in this one now". They had so many questions and enjoyed the spirit there. It is so neat to see it through their eyes for the first time! You can see Jaxon's cute little arm around Ty's shoulder in the photo of the gardens. Our family is so important to each of us and the knowledge that we will be together forever really means a lot to Quinn and I, but it was impressive to learn how important that is to Jaxon and Tyler.

Happy Birthday To YOU Tyler! We are so impressed with your 11 years of wisdom. We wish you all the happiness in the years to come and hope you always remember how much we love you. Ty had some friends over to enjoy a birthday flip flop party, swimming and playing outside. However, no one worships Tyler like Jaxon! He loves her so much and is quite happy to do just about anything she is doing... even if it includes tying stuff to flip flops. It is great to have my little babysitter, always willing to watch Jaxon so they don't have to run errands. What a beautiful, fun loving, happy girl!
(I still can't believe she had more fun with the box than the present... I thought they outgrew that?)

Here is our little athlete! Jaxon was born to MOVE! He absolutely dominated the last game of the soccer season... I think his team finally caught the vision and they were out-running the competition and as a result scored LOTS of times! Jaxon was happy to score 2 times! It was a little warm, so he cooled off with some water (both to drink and to shower) He also ran his heart out at the local Kids K, looking really good! He also loves to swim. Just trying to keep up with this active little 6 year old can wear a mom out! But we sure do love him!
Tyler was SO excited to be a "Chimney Sweep" from Mary Poppins in her 5th grade production of a Tribute to Disney. Mrs. Ovard-Snyder... YOU are a Genius! The kids absolutely loved your dedication and hard work and we want you to know that YOU CHANGED LIVES THIS YEAR! There are few teachers we will remember forever, and I know Tyler will remember you! You have touched her life and given her lots of tools-the most important a deep desire to learn and succeed. Thank you! Tyler also worked really hard to earn this medal, only 5 awarded for the entire 5th grade... It was the A+ American Award. I'm so proud of her. Good Job Ty! (Now, go wash that black stuff off your face :)
