Our family is growing also! But only by 6 fish. Yes, I was outvoted. As a kid, unfortunately, most of my fish lived but a few days, leaving me heartbroken. So, I didn't think fish would be a good idea (not to mention the yucky job of cleaning the tank). But, I was outnumbered. Tyler and Jaxon were EXCITED to go pick out "furniture" for the fishtank and pick out the fish. I have to admit it was fun to see them planning it all out. Then, I really had to chuckle as they decided to name each one with a name starting with "F", so... introducing: Flo, Febe, Florida, Fabio, Flipper, and Finigan. Flo seems to be the "pain in the neck" of the tank, quick to nip the tails of most of the others... she may be on exile island soon if she doesn't stop it. Anyway, it has been a fun adventure and for now, they are all still living. But, the joy on the kids' faces has made it all worth it!Tuesday, April 7, 2009

I love the fish names. Cute kids.
What!! We chat on the phone for an hour and you never mentioned you got fish! Our kids got the bionic fish last year that lived forever until we flushed "Stinky Pete" because well, he was stinky and I was tired of cleaning his tank! Britt journaled about this event at school and it did come up in parent teacher conference!! Ms. John was shocked that I would flush a perfectly healty fish. Obviously she doesn't know me too well!
How are the Fowers Family Fun Fish? Still running in circles and getting their tails nipped by the agressive one. Just remember in each "community" whether it be family, town or fish tank, there is someone who is always ready to nip at your tail to keep you going. Right now I am the one who feels like she is loosing her color. So you are teaching your children life's lessons.
Good call Quinn when you found that aquarium. By the way, Would you please put that "eye of the tiger" picture in the archives. I look so uncoordinated, even for me. Kisses to you all. Knock 'em dead Ty at dance competition. And Jaxon, Go get 'em. at Soccer. Thank heaven's they are more coordinated than their Grandma Gog.
I was looking at Becky's blogspot and came across yours. I cannot believe how big your kids are!!! They are beautiful!!!
